Happy Friday!
Wow, going to the dentist is ridiculously expensive... I had an appointment at the dentist yesterday, and somehow, I just can't be cavities-less at least once in my life. I'm not a big milk fan, and I once try to increase my consumption in dairies (yogurt, but still had one cavity!
So I have to see the dentist again tomorrow, and one more time on the weekend (Sunday at 10AM... talk about a great way to start the weekend).
Talking about teeth, my teeth have been kinda sensitive these days. Cold air is hurting them.I tried to look on the internet (guess I should ask my dentist... but I'm scared he might charge me more for consultation fees haha) and apparently, you can get sensitive teeth from grinding them. I know that I grind my teeth a lot when sleeping. Family members, roommates and my hubby have all told me I really need to get this checked out. Well I guess I should really look into a mouth guard. I found this mouth guard for grinding teeth...pretty!
Anyway, I am still looking forward to the weekend. This is my friend's 30th big 3-0! birthday and we are going to a yummy seafood restaurant. I have tried their cold seafood plate for 2, and they are enormous! Not cheap, but heh, my tax return is going to be pretty sweet this year haha. It's nice and warm today, I just hope will last until the weekend!!
I'll leave you with a picture from the best mascara ever : Lancome Fatale Mascara. I just bought it and I'm loving it! How can you resist those intense lashes :)

The best electric shaver

Ok this review is not about an electric toothbrush, but about an electric shaver. I just had to deviate and review it. I swear I must have tried pretty much every brand of electric shavers known to mankind. And each time, I had to go back to manual shaving after a few weeks, due to pinching, a non close shave or the hassle of keeping the shaver clean. Then I heard about the Braun electric shavers, and more especially the Braun Series 7- 790cc Pulsonic Shaver. The reviews were outstanding and I decided to splurge on another expensive gadget, with high hopes this time!
And what a find it was! This gadget is the best electric razor and simply the best invention in grooming ever! Unlike all other electric razors, the Braun 7-790cc does not get hot after a few minutes of use, which means no sweaty face which trips up the razor and adds to the pinching.
Ever since I've used this electric razor, I enjoy shaving a lot better. It is so much faster, painless, and mess-free. The Pulsonic offers the closest shave ever by any electric razor and more importantly it does not pinch or burn at all. One even better addition is the self cleaning system that makea your life so much easier.
My wife laughs every morning when she sees me shaving daily with this god send!
Bottom line: You need to try it now! And don't believe all the people who gave it bad reviews, they just don't get it!

Electric toothbrush specs and features

What to look for in an electric toothbrush
First, some people seem to think that an electric toothbrush is just an electric toothbrush. This true and not. They all serve the purpose : clean you teeth. But they all have a different feeling, and some come with very convenient features. Here are some tips on choosing the right electric toothbrush for you.
Tip 1 Your price range
What is your price range : 20$ or 100$? Depending of what specs you are looking for, your electric toothbrush could cost you nearly more than 20$. A 20$ toothbrush will obviously do the job just right, but a more fancy one may be more comfortable and fun to use, but will on the other hand cost you slightly or much more. By deciding on your price range, you will be able to narrow you choice by a fair bit, and save you some time when comparing toothbrushes.
Tip 2 Heads
What type of toothbrush head do you prefer? Toothbrush heads come in many sizes and shapes (rectangular, oval, round). They all have different properties and your personal preference will determine which one suit your mouth better and feel more comfortable to you.
Tip 3 Motion
What time of motion do you want your best electric toothbrush to have? Your choices are spin only, with side to side motion or pulse. While spin only electric toothbrushes are cheaper, you may find other types of motion more comfortable. Only you can decide if you this is important to you or not.
Step 4 Timer and other features
If you like high tech, you may want to look into more sophisticated electric toothbrushes. They often come with a timer, that will indicate you when brushing time is over. Some even give you a remind as when to change brushing side. And the very high-end sophisticated one even have a chip that keeps memory of important things, such as when to change your head or will indicate when it is about time to change the battery.
